Before using this platform, please read both the Privacy Policy and supplementary terms. Using the platform indicates your agreement to the following terms:
A. Housipaya is a rental service platform for individuals, providing one-stop services including rental, payment, billing, and AI assistant services (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"). Service content and fees are subject to actual public announcements.
B. We only serve Hong Kong residents or those who need to pay rent for Hong Kong properties. We do not provide services to regions that violate Hong Kong or local laws.
C. Access and Connection: Housipaya applications can be downloaded free of charge from app stores (supports iOS/Android systems).
D. Requires continuous and effective internet connection. Related network costs are borne by users.
E. Information Notifications: Verification codes and service notifications may be sent via registered mobile numbers/email.
Downloading the application is considered device registration, regardless of account activation status.
Login can be done through passwords or device biometrics. We verify identity accordingly.
(a) Use passwords/biometrics to protect devices;
(b) Only register their own biometric features;
(c) Set high-strength independent passwords;
(d) Do not share passwords or record them near devices;
(e) Update passwords regularly;
(f) Properly safeguard devices and do not leave them idle after login;
(g) Delete applications and associated payment cards before disposing of devices. The following situations must be reported to us immediately: password leakage, device loss/theft, unauthorized transactions.
(a) Do not jailbreak/crack devices or install pirated applications.
(b) Prohibited from reselling, tampering with, or reverse engineering platform functions.
(c) All uploaded content is the responsibility of users.
(a) Must provide accurate and complete payment information;
(b) Submit Housipaya payment instructions ("Payment Instructions") for immediate or future payments. We will request relevant information to understand and process your transactions. Required information may vary for different payments.
(c) Users represent and warrant that all information provided for each payment instruction is correct, accurate, sufficient, and valid, and irrevocably authorize us to process and execute transactions for you immediately.
(d) If users have submitted incorrect information to us, users should notify us as soon as possible. We will arrange refunds at our discretion and charge you relevant handling fees. If we are unable to arrange a refund, users agree that we need not provide any compensation.
(e) After receiving users' payment instructions, we have the right to request supplementary information to review the payment instructions. During the review period, we have the right to temporarily hold your payment instructions and request documents related to your identity, lease, or proof of your contractual relationship with the payee or other types of documents. Users understand that our ability to effectively review your payment instructions depends on your level of cooperation and confirm that we have the right to withhold any related funds until you pass the review.
(f) If we are unable to contact users or you do not meet information requirements within 7 days, we have the right to refund your payment instructions and charge you relevant service fees and handling fees.
(g) When we receive confirmation that your payment card has been debited, complete any review, and funds successfully reach the payee, your payment instruction is considered complete. Funds will reach the payee's account within 5 working days, but transfers may fail or be affected for various reasons, such as incorrect account numbers/bank names, incorrect/incomplete documents, or acquiring banks or banks requiring more time to process.
(h) We do not recommend users use other cardholders' credit cards to pay fees through your Housipaya account. If you use any third-party credit cards to pay fees through Housipaya, it means you have obtained legal and appropriate authorization from the cardholder and confirm and declare to Housipaya that the transactions you are/will conduct are consistent with the cardholder's authorization. You also authorize and agree that Housipaya may provide and disclose any information and records related to such transactions to the cardholder. You also agree that if the cardholder disputes or questions the legality of the above authorization, resulting in chargebacks or complaints and causing any financial losses, reputational damage, and all direct or indirect costs to Housipaya, you will fully compensate.
(i) You further guarantee that you will not hold us responsible for any losses caused by payment delays.
(a) The platform may contain third-party links or content. Their accuracy, services, and terms are not related to us.
(b) Displaying third-party content does not constitute our endorsement or guarantee.
(c) Users accessing and using any third-party websites or mobile applications must bear their own risks and comply with the terms of such third-party websites or mobile applications.
Platform availability is limited by third-party services such as networks and software providers. For example: Using third-party functions such as Google Maps requires compliance with their additional terms.
Failure to use or access any services within the Housipaya platform or Housipaya applications, except for losses caused by our negligence, fraudulent behavior, or intentional breach of duty.
(a) Service interruptions;
(b) User device/network issues;
(c) Others using your account;
(d) Any information, products, or services provided by third-party websites or mobile applications linked through the Housipaya platform.
(e) User breach of contract.
If the law requires us to be responsible for any of your losses, the liability limit is the cost required to re-provide the service.
If our losses are caused by your or others' operations through your account (including breach of contract, third-party claims), you need to compensate us and defend us:
We have the right to suspend services for the following reasons (without prior notice):
(a) Protecting business or user safety;
(b) User breach of contract or suspected illegal activities.
(a) All text, images, trademarks, and other rights belong to Housipaya or its authorized parties.
(b) Without written permission, copying, modifying, distributing, publishing, restoring, deconstructing, or using platform content for any purpose in any way is prohibited.
(a) You grant us global, permanent, royalty-free rights to use the data you submit (except as limited by law).
(b) Housipaya has no confidentiality obligations to you regarding any information or materials you submit while using the Housipaya platform, except as required by law.
